A interceção e o tratamento precoce de problemas são objetivos de medicina dentária atual, que têm sido aplicados na ortodontia e na ortopedia desde sempre.

O tratamento com alinhadores em crianças é uma ferramenta nova e muito potente, que nos permite trabalhar com pacientes em crescimento, com todas as vantagens inerentes de um alinhador invisível, além de fornecer múltiplos benefícios biomecânicos e biofuncionais.

Ao longo desta palestra vamos desvendar passo a passo, através de casos clínicos, como um bom controlo biomecânico do sistema e a abordagem biofuncional e reabilitadora adequada e baseada na filosofia da reabilitação neuro-oclusal, somos capazes, não só de corrigir maloclusões mas também, de equilibrar o desenvolvimento craniofacial e corporal de nossos pacientes mais pequenos. Early treatment and early interception are slogans of modern medicine that we have always applied in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics.

The use of aligners in children, is a new and very potent tool that allows us to work with growing patients, with all the inherent advantages of an invisible aligner, besides providing multiple biomechanical and bio-functional benefits.

During this lecture, step by step and using clinical cases, we will discover how, with good biomechanical control of the system and an appropriate biofunctional and rehabilitative approach, based on the philosophy of neuro-occlusal rehabilitation, we are capable of not only correcting malocclusions, but also of balancing the craniofacial and body development of our smaller patients. This will lead to an optimal health, function and aesthetics that have an impact on our patients´ general health. Welcome to the “Universe First”.
