“O mais difícil com alinhadores”

O tratamento de pacientes com alinhadores tem agora alguns anos, tendo-nos ensinado que o movimento mais difícil de realizar, aquele que representa um maior desafio, é o movimento mesio-distal da raíz. Por esse motivo, para alcançar este objetivo, era comum ver casos de alinhadores combinados com brackets ou dispositivos auxiliares.

Veremos como alguns alinhadores superaram este desafio devido ao material usado no seu fabrico e ao desenho dos seus attachments, alcançando melhores resultados, e em menos tempo até, do que com brackets.

“The most difficult thing to do with aligners”

We have been treating patients with aligners for many years and we have learned that the biggest challenge with them is to perform mesio-distal root movement. For this reason, cases of aligners combined with brackets or auxiliary appliances, were commonly seen, to achieve this objective.

We will see how some aligners has revolutionized this challenge thanks to the material used in its aligners and the design of its attachments, achieving better results and in less time compared to even brackets.
